đź’¬ Hello, Middle Child in Diaspora!

Being a long-distance caregiver comes with guilt, logistical hurdles, and stress—but also meaningful ways to support your parents from afar. Here are practical strategies and trusted resources to help you balance it all.

👨‍👩‍👧 1. Establish a Care Team & Share Responsibilities

Set up a family care meeting—phone, Zoom, or in person—so everyone knows the plan.
✔️ Designate a primary caregiver nearby.

🤝 The Stuck In The Middle Community

If you are Stuck In The Middle you know how lonely and isolating it can feel—always being pulled in different directions, needing to make instant decisions that carry major consequences.

As an only child, facing these challenges with my parents while trying to keep my business on track, my marriage together, and being a father for my two children… it was a tough balancing act financially, physically, and emotionally.

Being a private person who always feels “I CAN HANDLE IT” I was pretty bad at expressing my inner emotions—especially on social media. Heck, I didn’t even share it privately with my wife. And the truth is… people who are not in this situation cannot relate.

That’s why I started a private community where we can come together—share, support, and help each other. Privately. Safely. With people who understand.

I’ve kept the investment less than the cost of a Starbucks breakfast to ensure quality conversations and genuine people. I’ll be in the group daily sharing tips, tools, and experiences—and I hope you’ll join in too.

❤️ Final Thoughts

Caring for your parents from another state isn’t about doing it all—it’s about systems, support, and connection. You’re doing more than enough.
